Experience Behind the Vision
The founder brings a multidisciplinary background in health science, education, coaching, senior fitness, and wellness, shaped by a passion for helping people improve their quality of life through education, movement, and personalized support.
With a Bachelor's Degree in Health Science and a Master's Degree in Education, the founder combines scientific knowledge with a strong foundation in teaching, communication, and individualized support.
Professional experience includes working as an educator, athletic coach, and case manager supporting individualized education plans. These experiences developed a deep understanding of how personalized guidance, encouragement, and practical strategies can help individuals achieve meaningful outcomes.
Additional experience includes an internship specializing in senior fitness and health education, working directly with older adults to support programs focused on functional movement, mobility, strength, balance, and quality of life.
The founder also holds credentials as a NASM Senior Fitness Specialist and American Red Cross First Aid, CPR & AED Instructor, reflecting a commitment to continued education, safety, and responsible wellness practices.
But credentials are only part of the story.
What truly defines KIXAL is its commitment to meeting people where they are. Credentials provide knowledge. Experience provides perspective. The founder's work with individuals of different ages, abilities, and needs helped shape a philosophy centered on: Every individual has different abilities, goals, experiences, and challenges. Effective wellness should therefore be personalized, practical, accessible, and meaningful.
The focus is not simply on exercise or fitness.
It is on helping people maintain the functional abilities and confidence needed to move through daily life, participate in meaningful activities, remain engaged with their communities, and preserve independence.
